Micron offers new IT solution to Silver Street Automotive Group

 

Micron Communications has pioneered a new and ingenious solution to meet the IT requirements of Silver Street Automotive Group by installing a full time group IT engineer based at their head office in Exeter.

"Micron have dealt with Silver Street Automotive Group's telecoms for a number of years and helped the group to network their multiple Audi, Volkswagen, Seat and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle dealerships across the South West", said Peter Underhill, Operations Manager for Micron Communications. "Some changes were made internally at Silver Street which allowed us the opportunity to come up with this ingenious new solution which we felt would best serve the needs of the client and allow us to broaden out portfolio of IT support solutions".

By having a permanent member of staff based on site, Micron are able to offer instant response to the group and ongoing support with the back up of its team of IT engineers. This provides the Silver Street Automotive group rapid response times, it keeps them abreast of new technologies and developments whilst also allowing Micron Communications to maintain a close bond with such an important client.

"Its a win win situation for all as Silver Street Automotive Group has a dedicated IT support engineer and we are able to keep a close eye on their systems and also look for opportunities to enhance their operations" says Mark Parsons, Director of Micron Communications.
